A son will have his revenge, one way or the other.
Alfred Gaynor is a convicted serial killer and rapist who has been behind bars for over 15 years.  During his pretrial conference on April 30, 1998 some of Gaynor’s victims family members were in the gallery watching the proceedings.  Suddenly out of no where the son of one Gaynor’s victims lept to his feet and attempted to administer some justice of his own.  The large man began by grabbing and punching Gaynor, before knocking him to the ground and attacking him with a chair.  If it was your family member, would you have acted differently?
During Gaynor’s original trial and sentencing, he refused to admit his guilt in murdering  JoAnn C. Thomas, Loretta Daniels, Rosemary A. Downs and Joyce L. Dickerson-Peay.  However after his grandmother died in 2006 he confessed to their murders, along with several others.  Gaynor’s reasoning for his admission was he ‘just couldn’t destroy everything she believed in.’  As is typical, the family members of monsters often have difficulty accepting the truth about their loved ones.  Gaynor is serving a life sentence in prison.
