Meet the world’s fattest cat

This big boy is Garfield, the world’s fattest cat weighing nearly 40 pounds!  An average feline can weigh anywhere from 8 to 18 pounds.  Garfield is healthy in that he does not suffer from any degenerative diseases that make him unable to exercise, but due to his weight he does find movement difficult.  Because of this veterenarians exercise his little legs for him.  After this video was taken he was placed on a diet using special dietary cat food.
