Chris Christie endorses Donald Trump for president, be afraid

The GOP is doomed. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has endorsed Donald Trump for President of the United States. The implications of Christie’s endorsement show that while Trump may have previously been a sideshow candidate, his insurgency in the Republican party is now real — and one which many politicos now consider to be unstoppable. Christie has taken the first step, and is likely shooting for a cabinet position, perhaps Attorney General. Now that a major Republican leader has endorsed Trump, it is a safe assumption that others will follow suit as well in the coming weeks.
