As odd as it may sound, it is entirely possible to use simple technologies to allow one to interact with a video game interface while firing real weapons. The concept requires ‘accelerometers‘ to be placed on the outside border of a background screen used for projection. Since live ammunition is used, something of little value such as particle board is a preferable option. Then with a few minor tweaks and ticks any person who likes will be able to construct their own live shooting video game. Three cheers for science.
