Glenn Greenwald’s TED Talk on surveillance

Glenn Greenwald was the journalist to break the story about Edward Snowden’s stolen NSA files which revealed to the world the United States’ extensive surveillance of law abiding private citizens.  He recently gave a TED Talk on the importance of privacy, and the hypocrisy of those who are happy to give theirs away.

“There are all sorts of things that we do and think that we’re willing to tell our physician or our lawyer or our psychologist or our spouse or our best friend that we would be mortified for the rest of the world to learn.” -Glenn Greenwald
