Deepak Chopra: You can avoid HIV with the right state of mind

The irony of the below video between Tony Robbins and Deepak Chopra discussing HIV and AIDS being named “Two great minds question HIV/AIDS—Scam/Hoax?” doesn’t go unnoticed.  The 39-minute video falls off the tracks at 22:15 when Chopra says:

Chopra: HIV may be a precipitating agent in a susceptible host.   The material agent is never the cause of the disease.  It may be the final factor in inducing the full-blown syndrome in somebody who’s already susceptible.

Robbins: But what made them susceptible?

Chopra: Their own interpretations of the whole reality they’re participating in.

Robbins: Could that be translated into their thoughts, their feelings, their beliefs, their lifestyle?

You see?  According to this snake oil selling blowhard if one merely interprets their reality differently, they won’t be susceptible to HIV or the AIDS virus.  I’d like to see these geniuses stand up with a straight face and tell this baffling stupidity to the over 39 million families of those who have died after battling AIDS.

Chopra goes on to suggest that if one merely has the correct state of mind they can have unprotected sex with multiple partners while avoiding contracting HIV.

How does this man have millions of fans around the world?
