Bus stop makes strangers hold hands to operate heater

cold

The people of Canada know a thing or two about how cold winter can be, especially when waiting outside for a bus to arrive.  Minutes can seem like hours.  Duracell wanted to help during these cold months so they outfitted a bus stop with a heater.  There was a catch, though.  To power the heater people had to make a human connection by holding hands.  Only then would the heating mechanism operate!

While great in practice one does wonder about hygiene.  Would you be comfortable holding hands with a random stranger at a bus stop?  I guess it beats freezing.
